So our April 26th photography workshop was literally derailed due to a blowout of the trailer carrying the sets on Adam's drive down. Thankfully, very thankfully, neither Adam nor Andrew, riding with him, were injured. We had no other way to get the sets and materials here for the workshop, so the casualties were the trailer and the workshop itself. However, since the blowout happened very close to Battledress Headquarters, Lisa and Lee were kind enough to invite all of us, including those who would have participated in the workshop, to their place for a less formal shooting day on Saturday. It was a really pleasant day, great company, relaxed pace, and still a lot of pretty amazing photo shooting. A huge variety of styles and concepts. Gore, chains, plenty of humor and just wrongness, and deep emotional intensity. As always, anyone who would like to share thoughts on the day, and/or post photos, be they casual or finished images, please feel free! |
