Artistic Figure Lighting Workshop
July 1, 2012 ~~ 10am-7pm
Limited to 6 photographers



An artistic exploration of the male and female nude, including couples sets.
Instructor: Wendy Levin, D. M. Gremlin Studios owner and published fine art photographer
Models: Rusty Shackelford and Katz Pajamaz, husband & wife team of longtime professional art models


Each spot is confirmed by payment in advance of the workshop registration fee of $200 ($208 for credit card payments)
Registration includes lunch and promotional model releases

** Focus is on artistic figure nudes and bodyscapes featuring the male and female form as individuals and duo
** This is NOT an erotica workshop, though we do expect a tasteful sensual dynamic between husband & wife in the couples sets.
** A respectful and artistic environment in which to explore the male figure nude along with the beauty of the female form.

Outline of Itinerary:
Morning session: 10:00am-1:00pm - lighting techniques and individual shooting sets with each model
Lunch break: 1:00-1:30pm (lunch provided for participants)
Afternoon session: 1:30-4:30pm - lighting techniques and couples shooting sets with both models as a duo
Break: 4:30-5:00pm (signing of model releases)
Final open shooting session:: 5:00-7:00pm - continued shooting with any of the techniques and themes presented during the day

We're closing out another year of fantastic photography events with this all-day instructional workshop.
Instructor: D. M. Gremlin Studios owner and published fine art photographer Wendy Levin.
Models: Hourglass (left, center) and St. Merrique (right)




Each spot is confirmed by payment in advance of the workshop registration fee of $175 ($180 for credit card payments)
Registration includes lunch and promotional model releases
** 6 hours of instructional lighting presentation and shooting
** 2 hours of additional shooting with St. Merrique to cap off the day


Workshop Itinerary:
10:00am-1:00pm - Instructor presentation and participant shooting with Hourglass: Lighting isolation; figure nudes; bodyscapes; ultra-high key studies
1:00-1:30pm - lunch (pizza and soft drinks provided)
1:30-4:30pm - Instructor presentation and participant shooting with St. Merrique: Shaping dramatic highlights and shadows; low-key figure nudes; bodyscapes and abstract comppsition
4:30-5:00pm - break
5:00-7:00pm - Additional participant shooting time with St. Merrique (no further instructor presentation)
